On the band, on both sides, there is an S like a signature of the person who made it. The ring is very heavy; the opal is very large. It is an antique ring. It belonged to my grandmother, who received it for her wedding in December 1939 from her future husband, so it is very old. They even reached 50 years of marriage, so it is truly antique—a vintage ring. It is very heavy and very large.
