Retaux Bruno (1947) - Rue du Bled au Maroc

Oil on panel measuring approximately 30 x 40 cm without its frame (already substantial, as the painter is accustomed to smaller formats). It is signed in the bottom right, B Retaux. It depicts, as is often the case with the renowned Orientalist painter who was a friend of Maurice Boitel, André Hambourg, or Fernand Herbo, among others, an Orientalist scene set toward Marrakech, Morocco. Sent in a modern frame that remained and was included with the work. #Orientalism
