Rare for sale due to its size — oil on panel measuring approximately 38 x 46 cm, without the frame. It is signed bottom right, B Retaux. It depicts, as is often the case with the famous Orientalist painter, a friend of Maurice Boitel, André Hambourg or Fernand Herbo, among others, an Orientalist scene lively toward Marrakech, Morocco.
