Replica of Ancient Greek ceramic Vase - 33 cm

A replica of a Greek vase, an oinochoe, with a white-ground technique. Historically it was used as a nuptial vessel; the figures depict a bearded man playing the lyre and a woman offering him a vase to drink. Behind it, under the handle, there is a spray of palmettes. Light antique patina, scratches/chips made to give the object an antique feel. On the neck (see photo) there is a restoration, due to a break, almost invisible.

Estimation:€350
