Replica of an Ancient Greek Ceramic Oinochoe - 30 cm

I propose a particular ceramic oinochoe decorated, made in the style of ancient Greek black-figure pottery. The vase features a pear-shaped form, with a narrow neck, a trilobate mouth, and a large vertical handle. The polychrome decoration depicts figures inspired by Greek imagery, including a figure in warrior attire/armor, accompanied by vegetal and ornamental motifs. The surface shows a patina and a pronounced lived-in effect, with numerous abrasions, losses, and wear to the decoration, particularly evident on the body and the handle. Such characteristics are visible in the photographs and are part of the object's conservation state. The piece is offered as a decorative reproduction inspired by classical themes, without attribution to an ancient archaeological artefact. I do not possess documentation relating to the period, the author, or the workmanship, therefore these elements remain to be determined. This item is particularly suitable for collectors of decorative ceramics, classical art, and archaeological reproductions, or as a furnishing element with a historical and museum-like character. Conditions: as shown in the photographs, with evident signs of time and of the decoration. Material: ceramic/terracotta decorated. Provenance: not documented. Era and manufacture: not determined.

Estimation:€275
