Ferrari 250 TR58 "Pontoon Fender" Nassau 1958 - P. Rodriguez - Renaissance Models - Factory Built 1/43 Extremely rare No.018 / World Micro-Edition! MASTERPIECE PIECE OF HIGH-END AUTOMOBILE CRAFTSMANSHIP: FERRARI 250 TR58 "PONTOON FENDER" – OFFICIAL FACTORY BUILT VERSION BY RENAISSANCE MODELS (No.018) – STRICTLY NEW-OLD STOCK. Attention investors, motor racing enthusiasts, and the most demanding Ferrari Scuderia collectors in history. We offer you an international-level opportunity: the mythical Ferrari 250 TR58 sporting the famous gray and black livery of the Mexican national team, driven by the legendary Pedro Rodríguez during his Nassau achievement in 1958. This art miniature comes from the private collection of a great adult Ferrari aficionado, a guarantee of quality, care, and an impeccable preservation history. HISTORICAL DETAILS OF THE REAL MODEL: This piece perfectly reproduces the historic racing chassis #0728TR entered by the National Auto Club of Mexico for the iconic season finale Nassau Trophy Race in the Bahamas in December 1958. At the wheel, the young Mexican prodigy aged only 18, Pedro Rodríguez, achieved a memorable international feat by finishing 2nd overall (and 1st in his class) after a grueling race. Under the hood of the real car purred the legendary 3.0-liter Colombo V12 with red cylinder heads (the origin of the name “Testa Rossa”) powered by 6 Weber double-body carburetors. WORLD MICRO-PRODUCTION & ULTRA-LOW SERIAL Prestige (No.018): This high-caliber model is NOT a self-assembly kit to paint, but an officially assembled factory version, fully fitted and hand-finished at the time by the prestigious French master craftsman Renaissance Models. • Tiny global production: While raw unassembled kits never exceed a few hundred copies worldwide from the manufacturer, officially factory-assembled versions are produced in a drastic, ultra-confidential run. The official “Factory Assembled” edition is estimated at fewer than 50 copies worldwide. • The Privilege of Serial No. 18: Owning a serial number as low as No.018 is the grail for any discerning collector. It confirms the model is among the very first out of the artisan's hands, guaranteeing maximum execution precision of the details. This very low number gives the piece exceptional rarity and very high speculative value. • Absolute authenticity guaranteed: The precious number is certified as “matching numbers” both on the engraved plaque on the original base (assembled No.18) and on the era label affixed to its original cardboard box (assembled No.018). MAINTENANCE/FOR STORAGE MANIA: "MINT IN BOX" & "NEVER DISPLAYED": For highly demanding collectors, this model is in an exceptional factory-new original state: • Never exposed: It has never been in direct sunlight (no pigment fading, no yellowing of the white decals “MEXICO” or the numbers 10). • Zero dust: Always kept in a protective space, the cockpit and tiny details are clinically clean. • No handling: The miniature has remained untouched in its original packaging. • Strict non-smoking environment: Stored in a healthy environment, with no odors or tobacco deposits. • (Total transparency note: the removable upper plexiglass cover/transparent dome is missing. The miniature is delivered mounted on its official black plexiglass stand inside its Renaissance original cardboard box, both in mint condition). ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE & NOBLE MATERIALS QUALITY: Far from mass-produced plastic or die-cast Zamac, Renaissance uses noble materials specific to ultra-high-precision modeling: • High-density polyurethane resin body: The only material capable of faithfully reproducing the revolutionary aerodynamic profile of the car’s pontoon wings (designed by coachbuilder Scaglietti to optimize drum brake cooling), enhanced by a high-quality metallic gray automotive paint. • Jewelry-grade metal photo-etch (Nickel Silver/Steel): Microscopically functional wipers, grille grids, and the fine frame of the transparent windscreen are chemically etched for surgical realism. • Elements in white metal: The faithful wire wheels, gear lever on the grill, and mechanical parts are cast in a high-precision tin alloy to give weight and texture to the model. • Real leather details: The hood and rear hood securing straps are made from real leather strips manually applied. IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING PHOTOS: The detailed photos in this listing are the reference for the strictly new and impeccable condition of the miniature and its box. Please note that some whitish reflections or bright lines visible in the images are solely due to light refraction during photography. They are in no way defects, scratches, or alterations of the paint. ULTRA-SECURE & PREMIUM SHIPMENT: Because such a masterpiece deserves transportation worthy of its value, shipping will be conducted under strictly professional standards: • The miniature and its original box protected individually under thick bubble wrap. • High-density anti-vibration packing inside a double-wall rigid oversized carton. • Comprehensive international tracking: ultra-fast shipment with real-time tracking number and adequate insurance included for high value.
