Randal Lemoine; Daniel Louradour - La Violence et l'Ecume - 1965-1965

Published in 1965 by Pierre de Tartas, La Violence et l'Écume stands as a monumental visual and poetic tribute to the sea. The vivid writings of Randal Lemoine are complemented by the energetic, sweeping color lithographs of Daniel Louradour, whose dynamic line work captures naval majesty, sea deities, and oceanic tempests. This lot represents copy "B", printed on precious Japon Nacré paper, forming part of the elite 10-copy run (Letters A to J) at the very top of the edition hierarchy. The soft, luminous sheen of the Japanese paper enhances the color depth and detail of Louradour’s artwork. Hand-signed by both the artist and the publisher, this grand folio remains a rare find for serious collectors of mid-century French fine printing, lithographic art, and maritime literature.
