The exceptionally clean silver dial features a distinct vertical brushed finish that serves as a brilliant backdrop for the signature red rotating Rado anchor logo and matching red date display. Housed in a classic tonneau-shaped case with an integrated flat-link bracelet, this piece perfectly represents the bold, geometric design language of its era. Applied faceted indices feature black central inserts, matching the black baton hour and minute hands and the sweeping second hand. This configuration provides strong contrast and excellent legibility against the bright dial surface. At 12 o'clock sits the red rotating Rado anchor logo, balanced by a distinctive red date display at 3 o'clock. The dial is remarkably well-preserved with no visible spotting or significant degradation, while the hands retain their luminous fill and show no obvious corrosion or paint loss. Case and Crystal The 35mm stainless steel tonneau-shaped case features a classic integrated lug design. The case displays brushed upper surfaces transitioning to polished flanks, framed by a smooth polished bezel ring. The watch exhibits honest vintage wear, presenting moderate surface scratches and minor dings consistent with age and use, though the original geometry remains preserved and edges are reasonably defined. The crown is signed with the Rado anchor logo and features intact, well-defined knurling. A flat crystal protects the dial and remains clear with no significant scratches, chips, or crazing visible. Movement Inside the case beats the Swiss-made ETA caliber 2824, a 25-jewel automatic movement clearly stamped near the balance. The movement presents very cleanly with no visible corrosion or significant staining, featuring a signed rotor with an attractive textured finish. Timegrapher results show +27+30s/day. Performing well within expected vintage tolerances; running strong and steady. Strap The watch is fitted with its original signed integrated stainless steel flat-link bracelet. The bracelet features a brushed finish with polished sides and secures via a folding clasp signed with the Rado logo and text. It shows honest use with moderate surface scratches and normal wear, accommodating a maximum wrist size of 17.5cm. Condition Excellent vintage condition. The watch exhibits honest age-related wear, including moderate surface scratches and minor dings across the stainless steel case, polished bezel, and integrated bracelet. Despite these signs of use, the case geometry remains well-preserved. The textured silver dial and contrasting hands are exceptionally clean, free of significant spotting or degradation. The ETA 2824 movement is running strong and steady, as supported by the recorded timegrapher data. Dimensions Case size is 35 mm (excluding the crown).
