Splendid Art Deco Table Clock (1930s) - Inserts in Silver and Bakelite/Turtle-shell Celluloid DESCRIPTION: In this auction, a magnificent and rare table/desk clock dating from the early 1930s, firmly in the Art Deco period. A piece of great charm and elegance, perfect for collectors or as an exclusive vintage decorative element. The clock stands out for its beautiful frame with a tortoiseshell-like finish (in bakelite or turtle-shell celluloid of the era), flanked on each side by two refined black panels with silver inlays finely worked in floral motifs. All of this is supported by two solid geometric bases in glossy black material, typical of the design of the era. The rectangular dial presents an intriguing patina of time, with stylized cardinal numerals (12, 3, 6, 9) in perfect Deco style and original browned hands.
