The artist articulates a collaborative scene set in a courtyard or inner courtyard surrounded by exposed brick walls and greenery, where multiple women in timeless attire and canes share a moment of leisure, contemplation, and rest beside a stone fountain. Through the contrast between the greenish tones of the lawn, the warm clay of the structures, and the fluidity of white and colored garments, the work seeks to express the serenity of communal life, the pause of time, and shared intimacy in a protected space, celebrating everyday life, camaraderie, and introspection from a poetic and nostalgic perspective.
