R. Lullier - Statue

Art Deco sculpture signed R. Lullier depicting an elegant woman seated reading, accompanied by a greyhound. Decorative composition typical of the Art Deco period, with a patinated metal figure, elements in light material and a substantial architectural plinth in marble/onyx, enhanced by a mirror. The sculpture is signed R. Lullier on the dress. The overall piece presents a beautiful decorative presence and a particularly meticulous level of detail in the face, hairstyle, clothing, and the greyhound. Condition: generally good for its age, with signs of wear and visible oxidation/patina. No recent cleaning or restoration is known. Note: the light-colored material of the decorative elements (head, hands, books) has not been examined and is therefore described without definitive identification. Perhaps ivoirine?}
