Pyatigorsk Bronze/Пятигорская бронза 1:35 - Model...

For sale is an exclusive collector’s model of the Russian main battle tank T-80BW, a modification of the legendary T-80 tank. This extraordinary model stands out with its detailed 1:35 scale reproduction and was crafted from high-quality patinated bronze using an artistic casting process. The T-80BW was the world’s first tank to be equipped with dynamic armor against cumulative ammunition. This substantially increased protection for nearly half of the combat area—including the rear, front, and turret sections—and gave it a significant advantage over Western models of its time. In addition, the tank features reinforced armor elements and an impressive combat weight of 43.7 tons. Tests particularly highlighted the machine’s exceptional maneuverability and smooth operation. Another highlight of this model is the portrayal of the gas turbine engine, which endowed the Russian T-80BW with its impressive performance characteristics. Thanks to this technology, the tank could be made ready for action quickly even at extremely low temperatures, as less time was required to start and warm up the engine— a decisive advantage over diesel engines. The collector’s model has the following dimensions (height x width x length in cm): 9.3 x 10.8 x 28.0. It is a unique work of art that fits into any collection and honors the history of a technical milestone. Such pieces are scarcely available in Europe and represent a rare highlight for collectors and enthusiasts of military-historical models. Current new price is approximately €520. Insured shipping is possible, however collection by arrangement is recommended.
