Print - Calendario Pirelli 2011 - "Mythology" by Karl...

Up for auction is the iconic 2011 Pirelli Calendar titled 'Mythology,' entirely conceived, curated, and photographed by the legendary fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld. This famous edition reinterprets the myths of ancient Greece and Rome, highlighting the sculptural beauty of models, top models, and internationally renowned actresses. Among the stars featured are icons such as Julianne Moore, Bianca Balti, Isabeli Fontana, Freja Beha Erichsen, Abbey Lee Kershaw and Baptiste Giabiconi. The included works carry the original titles printed in contrast (including 'Three Bacchantes' and 'Orpheus and Eurydice'). Details of the lot: • Year: 2011 • Edition: Mythology by Karl Lagerfeld • Calendar condition: NEW and pristine. The photographic plates have never been hung or flipped through; the entire calendar body is unaltered and still protected inside its original sealed tissue wrap. • Included structure: The original back panel complete with the plate mounting mechanism ('Clamplement') is present and fully functional. • Original box: Protective rigid cardboard case branded 'Pirelli 2011'. Note on the external case condition: As clearly shown in the dedicated photographs, the external rigid cardboard box shows evident signs of tape, glue residue and surface tears due to a past shipment not adequately protected by the previous owner. The box nonetheless fulfilled its purpose, keeping the artwork inside and the structure in immaculate shop-condition. A collectible piece for lovers of fine art photography, international fashion, and Pirelli brand memorabilia. The lot will be placed inside an additional rigid protective packaging to preserve it during transport. Fast, tracked shipping guaranteed.
