Precious Vintage White Gold Ring with Sapphire & Diamonds, c. 1970

A natural sapphire, intensely blue and luminous, is framed by a band of sparkling diamonds. The colours blue and white are reminiscent of the sky on a carefree summer's day. Here the radiant firmament, there the clouds glowing white in the light. This ring evokes happy feelings. The high-quality, very clear stone is faceted in an octagonal shape and entices you to look at it again and again: Sometimes the surface reflects the light, then again the sapphire draws the eye into its interior, where flashes of light and reflections catch the eye.
