The ring presented here is a typical ring of the 1960s and it was made in Germany. The special thing about many pieces of jewellery from this time are the always new and often unusual designs: As variations of certain themes and motifs of jewellery history - here the theme of the "trilogy ring" - the designers of that era often found surprising solutions, which formally clearly contrasted with the jewellery creations of the previous decades. Three dark blue sapphires set in an oblique row form the radiant center of the ring. The triple number stands for the common path - past, present and future are seen in it. On the ring face, a total of 24 diamonds of fine colour and very good clarity are set on two levels. A cool shining ring band in white gold, which carries the ring face on delicate braces, makes the arrangement a ring. The combination of the sapphire and diamond setting is a classic that is particularly suitable as a love gift or even as an engagement ring. After all, the blue sapphire is emblematic of fidelity, and the diamonds can be read as stones of eternity. The ring was created in the years around 1965 in the manufactory of Wilhelm Müller and is very well preserved. A vintage piece of jewellery with a classic motif in a modern realization that comes with a detailed appraisal from the German Association for Gemstone Evaluation Idar-Oberstein.
