Pre-Columbian Art from the Kemper Collections - Christie's Amsterdam - Nazca

This extremely scarce post-auction catalog documents the renowned sale of the pre-Columbian art collection of the Kemper Collections at Christie's Amsterdam in 1995. The catalog forms an indispensable bibliographic benchmark for the provenance and market value of top pieces from, among others, the Nazca, Moche, Chupícuaro, and Maya cultures. The cover features an iconic polychrome earthenware piece that is emblematic of the high quality of this historic collection. This lot concerns an extraordinarily rare specimen in absolute mint condition / deadstock. The book is in the exact state in which it left the printer at the time and is nearly unopened. Due to its age (31 years) and the used cover, it is highly susceptible to handling marks. This book is nearly unopened. To safeguard the integrity of the spine and binding, the photos were taken with an opening angle of less than 100°. No reading creases, no internal discolorations, no signs of wear. A museum-grade archival specimen for the discerning collector. Shipping is conducted with Track & Trace. When purchasing multiple lots I apply a fair adjustment to the shipping costs, proportional to the total volume and insured value. Pickup is possible in The Hague, Benoordehout (2596GN).
