Stunning Alsatian oven dish in like-new condition. This particular model, with its fresh light-green color and contemporary glaze finish, dates from the late 20th century. Oval glazed stoneware terrine/stew pot (often called a Terrine à Baeckeoffe or Terrine à Foie Gras) with a matching lid. Made in Alsace, France, in the traditional style of potteries such as Poterie BECK. Traditional hand-painted Alsatian terrine with a matching lid. Oven and microwave safe. It is commonly used for traditional stews or pies.
