Pot - Aluminium - Rara

Large vintage pot with lid – diameter 50 cm, height 35 cm A piece of great presence, with the authentic charm of kitchens of yesteryear. This imposing metal pot, with an aluminum-like appearance, wins you over with its generous dimensions, essential beauty and a construction that conveys solidity: broad body, side handles with riveted fittings and a lid with a central knob. An object that tells a time when utensils were designed to last, with simple, concrete shapes, without concessions to fashion. The lived-in surface, the matte reflections and traces of use give it a character that a new item would scarcely be able to reproduce. An unusually uncommon piece to find complete with its own lid and in this notably large format. Its interest lies precisely in the whole: proportions, construction details and the patina of time. A piece capable of drawing attention in a collection of vintage utensils, in a rustic kitchen or in the setup of a venue. Shows evident scratches, stains, irregularities and signs of time, visible in the photographs, to be considered part of its condition and its lived-in appearance. Its suitability for food use has not been verified. Measurements: diameter 50 cm × height 35 cm.
