Porthole - Ancien maritime de bateau

Rare old maritime porthole made of solid brass, probably from the late 19th century or the early 20th century, circa 1900–1920. Beautiful authentic piece of antique marine equipment, produced with unusually robust construction featuring thick brass banding, massive glass, articulated hinge, and a powerful closure system by ring screw. This type of porthole formerly equipped ships, working boats, maritime cabins and naval installations, where sturdiness, watertightness and resistance to sea conditions were indispensable. The whole presents a superb natural patina, subtle oxidation tones and signs of old use that enhance its authenticity and industrial character. Spectacular decorative object rich in history, ideal for a maritime collection, nautical or industrial decor, loft, cabinet of curiosities, restaurant, hotel, yacht club or vintage-style interior. A distinctive piece for enthusiasts of the sea, navigation, naval architecture, boat artefacts, industrial antiques and high-end decoration. old marine, naval, nautical, boat, ship, solid brass porthole, industrial, vintage, maritime, navigation, naval architecture, cabinet of curiosities, loft decor, collectible item.
