Mixed media, painting on canvas and on Plexiglas, which gives it exceptional brilliance and a very pretty effect. Plexiglas raised above the canvas, which gives it a superb effect and a lovely shadow projected onto the canvas. A true little jewel! This contemporary art creation uses a complex technique of relief layering (three-dimensional mixed media): First plan: A high-end acrylic glass (Plexiglas) sheet, manually painted with acrylics with transparency effects. Second plan: A traditional wooden stretcher canvas, hand-painted, serving as dynamic background. The artistic effect: The physical superposition of Plexiglas painted above the canvas creates a genuine 3D depth effect. Depending on the room lighting and viewing angle, a subtle dialogue arises between the gloss areas of the Plexiglas, the real shadows cast on the underlying canvas, and the textures of the paint.
