Pioneer - SA-9500 -heavy-duty twin-power- Solid state integrated amplifier

Pioneer top‑of‑the‑line amplifier of its era. Everything works perfectly and it has just been repaired. Some parts, such as capacitors and transistors on the preamplifier board, were replaced. The technical condition is excellent. Aesthetically, it has some marks, as can be seen in the photos, due to age. It combines enormous stereo output power with a delicate transparency; a rare mix in these times when people seek a lot of power at any price. The Pioneer SA-9500 offers an unusually high continuous output power of 80 watts per channel, RMS minimum at 8 ohms, from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, with total harmonic distortion not exceeding 0.1%, but it also guarantees that even when used at low volumes, performance maintains a clear, bright clarity. The SA-9500's dynamic response and reliability are paired with a versatility of use rarely found in this price range. For example, the tone control versatility: both the bass and treble sections have three-position selections and a power on/off switch for a “flat” response with just the push of a button. Two-stage filters (highs and lows), the practical switching system for tape duplication, the selection of multiple input sources, the two‑system speaker switching, and much more ensure first‑class handling. Specifications: Power output: 80 watts per channel at 8Ω (stereo) Frequency response: 7 Hz to 40 kHz Total harmonic distortion: 0.005% Damping factor: 30 Input sensitivity: 6 mV (microphone), 2.5 mV (MM), 150 mV (line) Signal/Noise ratio: 65 dB (microphone), 70 dB (MM), 90 dB (line) Output: 150 mV (line), 2 V (preamplifier output) Semiconductors: 2 x FET, 54 x transistors, 26 x diodes Dimensions: 420 x 165 x 403 mm Weight: 17.2 kg See the photos.
