Pierre Zénobel (1905-1996) was a versatile Swiss artist, born in Geneva and died in Paris, whose career marked 20th-century figurative art. Initially a prolific poster artist between 1925 and 1950 under the pseudonym "Zeno," he engaged in political and advertising graphic design. He perfected his drawing and engraving from 1931 with Renefer, later joining the prestigious Union of Modern Artists (UAM). His style, tied to the School of Paris, is distinguished by a subtle mastery of light across landscapes, nudes, and still lifes.
