Picture Jasper set from Indonesia – two extraordinary...

This impressive Picture Jasper set from Indonesia consists of two high-quality polished freeforms with an exceptionally vibrant and detailed natural undertone. Warm gold, ochre, beige, and rust tones meet cool gray, blue, and cream hues to create a fascinating overall image. Particularly characteristic is the almost landscape-like patterning of the material. Breccia-like structures, delicate veining, and differently colored mineral areas interlock and evoke abstract landscapes, rock formations, or painted natural scenes. The smaller freeform shows especially strong gold and ochre tones with contrasting gray-blue patches. The larger piece appears especially painterly and varied due to its expansive light-blue, cream, and rust-brown areas. Two Indonesian natural uniques with exceptional markings The softly rounded shapes and the high-quality polish bring the colors and textures out especially vividly. Despite their different sizes, both pieces harmonize superbly with each other and form a striking ensemble.
