Collectors-item! In 1700 the Dutch Catholic Martyr Book saw the light, compiled by the Delft priest Petrus Opmeer. It describes the fates of martyrs who, for the Catholic faith, were cruelly slain both in times of the wild heathens and by the reformist sects.
