A rare vintage pair of sunglasses, born from the historic collaboration between Persol (original Ratti management) and the famous Pininfarina Design Center, dating back to the eighties. Main features and authenticity details: Original Persol Ratti lenses Mineral glass lenses, in excellent condition, with no significant scratches, featuring the iconic circular "PERSOL" engraving and the central "R" perfectly visible. Frame and design: An aerodynamically styled model with the "Pininfarina" logo debossed on the outer temple. Full set (Full Set): Included with the sale is its original period set consisting of: Original Persol/Pininfarina-branded warranty card (an extremely rare accessory to find). Semi-rigid case, original brown leather, with a metallic Pininfarina plate and the Persol Ratti-Made in Italy internal logo. Condition: Lenses: excellent Frame: structurally solid. As shown in the close-up photos, there is a slight natural gap (crevice) between the edge of the lens and the frame. This is a typical phenomenon for plastic eyewear from this era, due to the material’s natural loss of hydration over the decades, which a vintage optics specialist may note.
