Penn Saltwater Reel – Fishing Tackle – Emaille...

Beautiful decorative enamel advertising sign from Penn, featuring a classic image of a sea fisherman with a rod, sailboat, lighthouse and seagulls. On the sign are, among others, “Saltwater Reel” and “Penn Fishing Tackle Mfg. Co. – Philadelphia, PA.” The striking red-and-yellow color scheme and classic illustration make this an attractive collectible for fans of fishing, tackle, and old advertising signs. The sign is enamel on metal and has a nicely weathered character. There are signs of use, rusting, and local enamel losses visible, mainly along the edges and around the mounting holes. The image and text are still clearly visible. Look closely at the photos for a clear impression of the condition. Dimensions: 30 × 20 cm. A particularly decorative sign for a collection, fishing room, mancave, workshop, or fishing hobbyist. Well-packaged and shipped.
