Pelikan - 400+450+455 (tortoise) + original case - Pen set

I am putting this beautiful and rare original Pelikan Tortoise set from the 1950s up for sale, very well preserved and complete with the three coordinated instruments and its original Pelikan leather case. The set includes: - Pelikan 400 fountain pen Tortoise / Schildpatt - Pelikan 450 mechanical pencil coordinated - Pelikan 455 ballpoint pen coordinated - original Pelikan leather case - original tag “Echtes Leder” - original Pelikan nib in 14K / 585 gold - KF grade – Kugel Fine The fountain pen is a Pelikan 400 Tortoiseshell, one of the most iconic Pelikan models from the 1950s, characterized by the beautiful translucent tortoiseshell barrel with brown-green, amber and reddish tones. The set dates to around 1955–1956, a period consistent with the presence of the Pelikan 455 Tortoise and with the nib KF mounted on the fountain pen. An interesting detail is the original 14-carat gold nib / 585, with KF grade – Kugel Fine. Semi-flexible / good flex nib. The pen writes perfectly and there is also a writing sample in the photo. The set is in really very good condition considering its roughly 70 years of age. The set retains its brilliance very well. For accuracy I note: a few teeth are missing from the hinge of the case, but it closes perfectly still. Some signs are attributable to age, after all it is 70 years old, but it is an original vintage set in excellent condition.

Estimation:€450
