Toutes les enchères / Luminaire / Parker - Duofold International - Fountain pen
The pen is presented in very good overall condition, showing remarkable preservation both aesthetically and functionally. The body in red marbled resin maintains excellent shine and depth of color, with the characteristic veins well defined and no appreciable discolorations. There are slight micro-signs of use, typical of the passage of time and careful use, but without cracks, dents, or structural defects. The black areas (butt cap and cap) likewise retain a good finish, with minimal signs of handling. The golden elements — clip, rings and embellishments — are in very good condition, with uniform shine and no significant losses of plating, which reinforces their visual appeal. The 18K solid gold nib is in excellent condition, with no deformations or abnormal wear, maintaining proper alignment and smooth writing. The feed is clean and in optimal operating condition. The filling system has been inspected and tested, functioning correctly, guaranteeing a reliable writing experience from the first use. Overall, it is a very well-preserved piece, fully functional and ready for use or collection, with light signs of use consistent with its age. Conservation recommendations It is recommended to use high-quality inks specific for fountain pens and to avoid pigmented inks. If not used for a prolonged period, clean with lukewarm water, dry completely before storing, and keep in a dry place away from direct light and extreme temperatures. Always operate the filling system gently to preserve its mechanics in the long term. It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation. Happy bidding!
