DEGAS Edgar Degas (1834-1917) The life of the Parisian painter has known only a few dramatic moments. Elder son of a wealthy family, this solitary cynic and snob had every leisure to devote his life to art. He also remained single, because, according to him, love and work cannot be shared. His classical training is seen in his early works, notably the austere lines of his idol Ingres. While affirming himself resolutely as an independent realist, he was very tied to the Impressionist revolution. The themes and techniques he developed constituted a synthesis between traditional painting and modern painting. Parastone has successfully created decorative objects for almost 50 years, some of timeless classical beauty and others more aligned with prevailing trends. The collection of museum pieces presented under the name Mouseion constitutes an important part of the collection. Besides exact copies of major works of art, the Mouseion series also includes three-dimensional interpretations of paintings and drawings by many artists, from Hieronymus Bosch to Salvador Dalí. “decorative object, luxury object, table art, collector, interior decoration, statuette, sculpture, no panther, no Orlinski, no Koons, pop art, no Kong, no pompon” The photos are part of the description.
