His inspiration begins with an inner search that has ancient and primal echoes, as suggested by the sinuous female torsos and the winged figures. He manages to unite reality and transcendence through ever-new insights, knowing how to achieve an original synthesis between the individual preference for essential forms and the most attentive contemporary plastic research. A sculptor and painter, Paolo Desario was born in Barletta, in Apulia, and studied at the Accademia delle Belle Arti di Bari in the sculpture school of Amerigo Tot.
