Paire de flambeaux en bronze ciselé et doré - Époque...

Elegant pair of candlesticks richly decorated with elements drawn from the plant repertoire. Each rests on a circular base decorated with broad acanthus leaves finely chiseled, surrounded by a frieze of water leaves. The stem, slender and rhythmically fluted, is highlighted by acanthus leaves and a frieze of craters and lyres in alternation. At its summit, it bears a ring adorned with daisies. The upper part is enriched with a crown of flowers and foliage supporting a bobeche in the shape of a corolla, also animated with botanical motifs. Restoration period 1820-1830 Good condition. Original gilding.
