Elegant pair of large decorative candelabra in historicist style, made of worked bronze, wood and amber-toned crystal/glass, with rich Neoclassical-inspired decoration and echoes of Russian and Central European decorative taste. Each piece presents a vertical, imposing structure, with a central dark-polished wooden column, bronze ornamented elements with vegetal motifs and leaves, and a wide decorative base resting on small feet. The upper part is formed by an amber crystal vase, warm and translucent in tone, adorned with geometric carving in the shape of diamonds, creating an appealing refraction effect when illuminated. Below the vase sits an elaborate bronze crown decorated with vegetal motifs, from which hang numerous amber faceted crystal tears and prismatic pieces. These elements add movement and reflections to the conjunto and are one of the most notable aspects of the pair. The bases also feature vegetal-inspired relief decoration, combining bronze with dark wood and creating a strongly ornamental overall appearance. The combination of worked bronze, faceted amber glass, prismatic elements and vegetal decoration recalls models of Russian and European decorative lighting from the 19th century, especially within the Neoclassical and Historicist traditions.
