Vintage 1960s Silver-Plated Cutlery Set by Otto Leonard Wiskemann (Orfèvrerie Wiskemann S.A., 1872–1984) A magnificent Art Deco silver-plated cutlery set (model Bearn No. 24), crafted by the esteemed Belgian silversmith Otto Leonard Wiskemann of Brussels, Belgium, in the late 1930's to early 1950's. A splendid example of Belgian craftsmanship, combining aesthetic elegance with functionality—an ideal complement to a refined dining experience. Consisting of: 12 dinner spoons – 21.5 cm 12 dinner knives – 24.5 cm 12 dinner forks – 21.5 cm 12 fish forks – 18.5 cm 12 fish knives – 21.5 cm 12 starter/lunch knives – 21.5 cm 12 starter/lunch spoons – 17.5 cm 12 starter/lunch forks – 17.5 cm 12 teaspoons – 14 cm 12 pastry forks – 15.5 cm 12 glas knife rests -8.5x1x2cm 9 serving pieces The set remains in good condition. Minor, polishable oxidation and fine surface scratches are present, consistent with normal, sporadic use over the last 80+ years. The original custom-made Wiskemann wooden canteen box is also in very good condition for its age, showing normal signs of use and free from any unpleasant odors.
