Boulenger-Hautin, and in its early decades operated as Orfevrerie Hautin. When in 1864 cousin Adolphe Boulenger took over, the name changed to A. Boulenger & Cie. From their premises at 4 rue de Vert-Bois in Paris, the company earned a reputation as an Orfevre of high caliber, and over time Boulenger became a regular supplier to the French navy. Its work was awarded at several fairs and exhibitions, including Paris 1925, Cairo 1929, and Antwerp 1930. The company closed its doors in 1938.
