List price = 1100€ Designed in 1977 by Vico Magistretti, Atollo has been an icon for many years, one of the most widely recognized symbols in the design world, the archetype of the desk lamp that won the Compasso d'Oro in 1979 and became part of the permanent collections of major museums, revolutionizing the way we imagine the classic bedside lamp. The geometric shapes that compose it - the cylinder, the cone and the hemisphere - gave life to a decorative yet essential product; the hemispherical lampshade directs light downward onto the surface of the desk, creating an indirect and pleasant accent in the environment.
