Old Pulteney 12yo & 16yo - 70cl - 2 bottles

Up for auction: A fantastic collector and tasting duo from Old Pulteney Distillery, famously known as "The Maritime Malt". Located in Wick, Caithness, on the rugged far northeastern coast of Scotland, Old Pulteney matures its whisky right by the sea, where coastal winds impart a distinctive, refreshing maritime brine to the aging casks. This lot pairs the award-winning flagship 12-year-old expression with the highly regarded 16-year-old Traveller's Exclusive, bottled at a higher strength of 46% ABV. Both bottles come housed in their original presentation boxes and distinctive flagon-shaped bottles inspired by the distillery's unique wash stills. --- INCLUDED IN THIS LOT: 1. Old Pulteney 12 Years Old (700 ml | 40% ABV) The definitive maritime single malt, wholly matured in hand-selected ex-bourbon casks. Crisp, dry, and balanced with notes of honeyed vanilla, citrus zest, ripe red apples, roasted almonds, and the signature saline sea spray finish. 2. Old Pulteney 16 Years Old - Traveller's Exclusive (700 ml | 46% ABV) An exclusive release crafted for global travel retail, matured in a combination of American oak bourbon casks and Spanish oak sherry casks. A richer, deeper expression delivering complex aromas of dried fruits, warm dark chocolate, ginger cake, spicy oak, and lingering salty sea air. --- LOT SPECIFICATIONS & CONDITION: * Brand / Distillery: Old Pulteney Distillery (Wick, Caithness, Highlands, Scotland) * Category: Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky * Age Statements: 12 Years Old & 16 Years Old * Edition: Core Range (12YO) & Traveller's Exclusive (16YO) * Total Volume: 1.4 Litres (2 x 700 ml / 70 cl) * Strength: * 12 Years Old: 40% ABV * 16 Years Old: 46% ABV * Condition: Pristine collector condition.
