Oil lamp (2) - Glass, Bronze, Ceramic - A pair of antique lamps

An interesting pair of tabletop oil lamps in opaline glass, decorated, complete with their respective metal/brass burners and the long clear glass chimneys. Although different in shape and decoration, the two lamps share a particularly interesting common feature: both glass chimneys bear an inscription with an eagle, globe and the wording “Cristal de Roche,” clearly visible in the photographs. The larger lamp presents a refined combination of white and green opaline, with a green circular base, coordinated reservoir, small multicolored floral motifs and an elegant medallion with a female portrait on the central body. The brass fittings retain a pleasant patina of time. The second lamp, slightly smaller, is made of white opaline richly hand-decorated with floral and ornamental multicolored motifs in tones of red, blue, green and yellow. It retains the burner with a side regulator and wick. At the bottom there is also a mark/brand, documented photographically, which is not attributed to a specific manufacture in the absence of further certain elements. Dimensions Green portrait lamp: height about 49 cm base diameter about 15 cm Multicolored lamp: height about 40–41 cm base diameter about 13–14 cm Materials: opaline glass, clear glass, brass/metal. Period prudently attributed: late 19th – early 20th century. Both lamps are in good overall condition considering their age, with normal signs of use, patina and oxidation of metal parts, slight wear of the decoration and minor imperfections compatible with the period. They have not been tested with fuel and are offered as historical, decorative and collectible objects. Photographs are an integral part of the description and document decorations, condition, measurements, the mark on the bottom of the smaller lamp and engravings present on the two chimneys. The pair will be packed with particular care, carefully separating glass, burners and lamp bodies.
