In the Gunmetal version the case, bezel, bracelet and dial share the same smoky-gray finish, in a tone-on-tone reading that stands out for consistency rather than contrast; the fully brushed surface absorbs light, while the sunray dial collects and returns it with the movement of the wrist. The bezel insert is steel, not aluminum: it resists scratches, does not fade, and ages with the case rather than before the case. The dual polished and blasted finish makes it legible in any light condition.
