This is the steel version, with the case left in its natural color and a finish that alternates polished and brushed surfaces, for a clearer and more classic look compared to the plated versions. The dial is gray tone-on-tone with a sunray finish: light passes through it and changes its depth with every wrist movement, from light gray to anthracite. It is the most sober and versatile variant in the range, the one that goes with everything. The applied indices are all luminous, as are the hands, for immediate reading even underwater and in the dark. The bezel insert is steel, not aluminum: it resists scratches, doesn’t fade, and ages with the case rather than before the case. The double polished and brushed finish makes it legible in any lighting condition. From the exhibition case back you can observe the Japanese automatic movement in action, with the Norton-custom rotor winding with every wrist movement.
