This is the steel version, with the case left in its natural color and a finish that alternates glossy and brushed surfaces, for a clearer and more classic effect compared to the plated versions. The dial is black with a glossy finish: light passes through it and changes its depth with every wrist movement. Applied indices are all luminescent, as are the hands, for immediate reading even underwater and in the dark. The bezel insert is steel, not aluminum: it resists scratches, doesn’t fade, and ages with the case rather than before the case. The dual glossy and sandblasted finish makes it legible in any lighting condition. From the exhibition caseback you can observe the Japanese automatic movement at work, with the Norton-custom rotor recharging with every wrist motion.
