In the foreground, a verdant slope dotted with vivid red poppies invites the eye to rise toward a traditional mas with golden walls and Provençal roof tiles. The elegant silhouettes of dark cypress trees rhythm the composition, while in the background, the rolling hills stretch to the horizon beneath a wide blue sky swept with white clouds. A vibrant work of light, freshness and rural serenity. Technique: Entirely executed in acrylic with a painting knife on canvas mounted on a wooden frame. The generosity of the material and the knife-work precision give a sculptural relief to the poppies in the foreground while sculpting the bright light that bathes the building and the relief of the hills. The Artist: With more than 25 years of professional career (established since 2001, first exhibition in 1992), NOLAC (born 1970) is an accomplished artist. Her knife-work is her signature, blending the strength of gesture with poetic finesse. She now embraces a freer, instinctive interpretation of the landscape, brushing with luminous and expressive abstraction. Offerings: Unique work, directly from her studio, signed, varnished. Delivered with its Certificate of Authenticity.
