In the foreground, a luminous path winds through a slope teeming with red poppies and wildflowers. It guides the eye toward charming white houses with ochre-tiled roofs nestled on the hillside. Majestic umbrella pines frame the view of a bay with turquoise, crystal-clear waters, where distant white sails shimmer. A living work, warm and imbued with a gentle summer poetry. The Technique: Entirely executed in acrylic with a painting knife on canvas stretched over a wooden frame. The generosity of the material and the vividness of the knife-stroke give exceptional relief to the petals of the poppies, the texture of the rocks, and the foliage of the pines, capturing the richness of southern light. The Artist: With more than 25 years of professional career (based since 2001, first exhibition in 1992), NOLAC (1970) is an accomplished artist. Her knife work is her signature, blending the strength of gesture with poetic finesse. She now embraces a freer and more instinctive interpretation of the landscape, brushing with luminous and expressive abstraction. Inclusions: Unique artwork, direct from her studio, signed, varnished for protection. Delivered with its Certificate of Authenticity.
