Nokia 5510 - Mobile phone - In original box

okia 5510 Here is my Nokia 5510, in almost perfect condition and in Groovy Red! Introduced in 2001, it was Nokia's first attempt to create a phone with a unique look, breaking away from its traditional candy-bar form factor that had been used constantly until then. It was also the company's first multimedia device and among the first phones capable of playing MP3 music files. In addition to MP3 playback, it also featured FM radio and voice recording. To store music, it had 64 MB of flash memory (large for the time), which provided about 2 hours of music at standard quality. It was one of the last Nokia phones to use the proprietary Series 20 operating system. Being based on the Nokia 3330, it shares the same features, except its multimedia capabilities which are unique to this model. In addition to its focus on music, the 5510 was also a great SMS machine, with a full (split) QWERTY keyboard right on the front. One last thing to note is that the 5510 did not belong to the XpressOn program and was released in only two color variants; the Groovy Red one I own is the (very) rarest! It also featured a two-tone design, with the backplate always black regardless of the front color.
