Toutes les enchères / Autres / NO RESERVE PRICE - Stunning Pair of Crystal Cube Calcite...
Wonderful pair of Cube Calcite cluster and Maligano jasper sphere on custom stands. Cube calcite crystals typically form in a rhombohedral shape, but they can also present as cubic or other geometric forms due to their perfect cleavage in three directions at 120 degrees. This cleavage allows calcite to break into shapes that appear cubic. Cube calcite is often transparent or translucent and can be colorless or display a variety of colors depending on impurities. Iceland spar, in particular, is known for its exceptional clarity and transparency. Cube calcite, especially in its clear form known as Iceland spar, is a fascinating mineral that continues to intrigue scientists, collectors, and enthusiasts with its unique properties and historical significance. Maligano jasper is a specific type of jasper found in Indonesia and forms in ancient volcanic hot spring areas. Maligano is known for its contrasting warm hues on blues and greys with fantastic brecciated, or broken and healed, patterns plus its fun dendrite patterns, making the stone often show river scenes with little bushes aside a babbling brook.
