NO RESERVE PRICE - Ottaviani - Sculpture

This splendid and elegant high-quality handcrafted sacred sculpture, created by the prestigious Italian brand Ottaviani, is offered at auction. The work depicts with strong expressive intensity and meticulous attention to detail the figure of Saint Padre Pio of Pietrelcina, portrayed in a solemn blessing pose, wrapped in the typical Franciscan habit with a stole. The sculpture boasts a precious coating realized with as much as 30 grams of silver, giving the figure a unique shine and visually striking reflections. The statue rests on a solid stepped circular base, also finely finished, which provides stability and a sense of lift to the whole piece. The piece presents generally good conservational condition, showing only natural and light signs of wear and the silver coating that attest to its authenticity and age, while imparting a suggestive vintage patina. A piece of considerable artistic and spiritual value, perfect for collectors of sacred art and designer silverware, as well as a precious devotional decorative element. Photos are an integral part of the description. The item will be packed with the utmost care and professionalism to ensure safe delivery. The shipment will be traceable and insured.
