Elegant vintage brooch in sterling silver by the Danish silversmith Herman Siersbøl. The brooch is in the shape of a stylized leaf, built from flowing lines and strongly modeled veins. The slightly curved surfaces give the design nice depth and the silver plays strongly with the light. A very recognizable Scandinavian design: decorative, but without excessive embellishment. On the back there is a well-working brooch clasp. The brooch is clearly stamped with STERLING – HS – DENMARK, where HS is the maker’s mark of Herman Siersbøl. The brooch is in very good vintage condition, with little to virtually no notable signs of use.
