An unmissable opportunity for retro gaming collectors and lovers of video game history. I am putting up for auction a fantastic lot of Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) from the late 1980s. The peculiarity and true collecting gem of this set lie in the "Mattel Version" distribution. Before Nintendo opened its official branch, distribution in Italy was entrusted to Mattel: the lot includes the very rare original warranty and service leaflets "Mattel S.p.A. - Oleggio Castello", genuine historical documents, in addition to the manuals entirely in Italian. The lot includes: - NES Console (Mattel Version): In excellent cosmetic condition, plastics clean and free from the typical and annoying yellowing. Complete with power cable, original RF Switch antenna cable, and a standard controller. - NES Advantage (Boxed): The legendary arcade joystick for NES. The controller is in excellent cosmetic condition. Condition note: The original box is present but in poor condition (tears, heavy wear, and packing tape applied in the past). - Zapper Light Gun (Orange Version): In excellent condition, complete with its bag and the original Italian instruction manual. - Game "Duck Hunt" (Boxed): A great classic. Complete with box (with slight edge wear), cartridge, Italian instruction manual, and internal styrofoam. - Game "Gyromite" (Loose + Manuals): Cartridge in excellent condition with Italian instruction manual and the original brochure of the legendary "Robot Series" (the game was originally conceived to be used with R.O.B.). - Illustrative and warranty leaflets: Historical flyers and "Seal of Quality" seals. The lot presents in good to excellent overall cosmetic condition for hardware and manuals, while the cardboard boxes show some flaws (notably the Advantage box, as clearly visible in photos). All materials have been carefully preserved. THE ZAPPER GUN: As with all optical guns from the 8-bit and 16-bit era, please note that the Zapper ONLY works on old CRT televisions. The internal optical technology is not compatible with and will not detect targets on modern flat-screen TVs (LCD, LED, OLED, Plasma).
