Bombé Chest of Drawers in the 20th Century Luigi XV Style Elegant bombé chest of drawers in the Luigi XV style, made in the course of the 20th century and characterized by refined decorative marquetry workmanship. The structure presents the typical wavy and sinuous profile, with a bombé front divided into three wide drawers and curved sides. The entire surface is embellished with rich floral and vegetal motifs in inlays of contrasting wood tones, arranged harmoniously on the front, the sides, and the top. Particularly decorative is the shaped top, adorned with a large central motif with volutes, flowers, and leaves. The sides feature further marquetry compositions, including figurative representations set within elegant ornamental frames. The drawers are completed by shaped metal handles, while the tall, slightly curved legs emphasize the characteristic Luigi XV taste.
