icole Lubbers is a Dutch visual artist from the eastern part of the country. She is known for her innovative and idiosyncratic approach to art and works with various styles, techniques and imagery. Lubbers was proclaimed Artist of the Year 2024 at the Belgrade Biennale, received the Institutional Award of the Municipality of Montecosaro and took second place at the World Art Awards as Most Innovative Artist 2024. In addition, she was listed among the 100 best female artists in the world and recognized as Master in Art. Internationally her work has been seen and planned for exhibitions in, among others, New York, Venice, Florence, Belgrade, Belgium, China and Montecosaro, in addition to exhibitions in Dutch galleries. A particularly high point is Beyond the Surface, a solo exhibition on Times Square in New York. Additionally, Nicole collaborates with artist Michael Lam on the exhibition Harmony in Motion: Two Artists, One Vision. Two different artistic worlds come together here and form a joint dialogue around movement, color, creativity and transformation. The work of Nicole Lubbers is more than just a visual image. Delivery and presentation The artwork is delivered unframed and without a stretcher frame. You will receive the canvas carefully rolled, so you can determine how you want to present the artwork. You can have the canvas, for example, framed or stretched by a professional framer on a stretcher frame. Important when stretching: please note that for stretching the canvas at least 5 cm extra canvas on each side is required. This margin is necessary to fold the canvas neatly around the stretcher frame and secure it. Therefore, when determining the final size, allow for a minimum 5 cm extra margin on the top, bottom, left and right.
