Natural, rarer Padparadscha sapphire – Raw crystal with...

This extraordinary rough crystal of a Padparadscha sapphire already in its untreated state shows that rare and valued color mix of rose, salmon and a delicate violet shimmer, which makes this gemstone so coveted worldwide. Under strong light the stone seems to glow: bright pink to pinkish zones spread from the inside outward and give it an impressive depth, reminiscent of glowing mineral veins in the Earth's interior. The crystal form is still clearly recognizable, with matte, natural growth facets that authentically preserve its formation in the earth. When turning the piece, finest color gradients, small inclusions and mineral structures reveal themselves — all of which makes this rough stone a characterful one-of-a-kind piece, as you seldom find. Padparadscha sapphires are among the most valuable representatives of the corundum family, and rough crystals in this size and color quality are particularly sought after, both by collectors and by lovers of extraordinary gemstones. This piece combines the natural primordiality of an uncut mineral with the intense, almost magical color of a real gemstone and looks like a quiet heart of light and embers.
